Let's Get 1 Million Indigenous People Moving!

We had a great turn out for our 2nd event of our Keep On Movin' It event series.  There were 157 people who came out and walked or ran.  Our Halloween Run/Walk was held at the Shiprock Boy's and Girl's Club, we had asked people to come dressed up in their Halloween costume to win some prizes and there was hot chocolate available to help ward off the fall chill.  Here are some great pictures of people who participated.

Best Features:
Seeing people who came out dressed in their costumes and just seeing all the families who participated.

Creative Features:
We offered prizes for the people who dressed up. What they won were some of our classic Shiprock Just Move It sweatshirts from previous years. Other sweatshirts and bags were handed out at the end as door prizes.

Future Plans:
We will continue to have Keep On Movin' It events each month until Just Move It starts.
