Activity Report: Just Move It Step Off

The event was a non-competive 5K walk/run through uptown. Uptown is the neighborhood that encompasses both American Indian Health Service of Chicago and the American Indian Center of Chicago as well as other Chicago Native Community organizations. The walk took place on a Sunday morning and was a huge success! There were participants of all ages!
Best Features:
The best part of the event is community members asking when the next one would be!
Creative Features:
We were able to have t-shirts, fliers and a huge banner with OUR own JMI design.
Challenges:
Some people did say that they would have came if they knew about it...so MORE promo in the future!
Future Plans:
Once a month and in the winter months, indoor activities!!
