We are walking 9 blocks in a sidewalk procession (crossing at the lights) from Downtown Billings MT to South Park where additional walking (around perimeter) will be an option for any participants.Tribes Involved:

Program Purpose:
September 23rd is American Indian Heritage Day in Montana and we would like to promote both our heritage and healthy activities (including screenings) on the fourth Friday in September (annually) and increase the number of American Indians who get screenings for various medical issues throughout the year on an ongoing basis by providing referrals and arranging appointments.
Program Key Features:
Walking and drawing attention to American Indian Health & Cultural activities including presentations on Native Games.
Most Excited About:
We really hope to send a positive message about our cultures and to educate the general public.

Fellowship Participants, IHS personnel, MT WY Tribal Leaders, NADC, Rocky Mtn. College, YCCHD, Western Heritage Center, Schools, Yellowstone Art Museum.
