Aerobics

Lifetime Fitness is a program licensed by the Senior Services in Seattle and the University of Washington. One hour of aerobic activity, strength training, balance, and stretching. Specifically geared to Elders or others who are beginning exercise program.

Tribal Center Gym immediately before the Elders lunch program. 3 days per week.

Program Purpose:
Give Elders a program specifically designed for them, increase fitness level and decease falls.

Program Key Features:
Aerobic activity, strength training, balance and stretching. Exercise can be done standing or in a chair.

Most Excited About:
That it has continued and we have weathered some of the storms of not a lot of participation and difficulty finding instructors. We have several Elders who have made significant progress in their fitness and strength levels.
